The ST960 Mobile Resource Management System is a complete cost effective high security solution designed to provide control room operators with encrypted position reports, text messaging with preset replies and remote device status monitoring and control from mobiles in a radio system

This powerful but simple solution works with a variety of Motorola, Vertex and Icom mobiles and can be implemented into conventional (one channel) simplex or conventional repeater systems as well as SmarTrunk or LTR trunking systems (LTR with Motorola only).  Vertex mobiles can operate on conventional or SmarTrunk.  Icom units are SmarTrunk only.  A simpler, more economical text messaging and remote monitoring/control only solution is also available for Motorola, Vertex or Icom mobiles.

Motorola portables can be made text messaging capable.  This solution is ideal for users not needing mapping, but yet wishing to reduce voice traffic such as in hotels, schools, warehouses, airports, building security, stores, etc.

The ST960 system consists of a logic board added to each radio’s internal option port.  An external GPS receiver externally connects to the board.  At the control room location, a data cable connects the ST960 internal radio board to a computer running the feature rich dispatch and mapping software. ST-960 Mobile Resource Management Highlights

1. The ST-960 option boards works on Conventional, SmarTrunk, and LTR systems (LTR with Motorola Transceivers).  At this time, Icom radios offer SmarTrunk system compatibility only. We are working with Icom on hopefully soon also having conventional compatibility.

2. GPS/AVL/Messaging/Vehicle Status solution for Vertex conventional radio systems (can also do base to mobile selective calling and ANI)

3. The text messaging and monitor/control features can be used stand alone (without AVL mapping) at considerable savings.

4. A trade in program is available for those wishing to start with messaging and remote monitoring/control only and then add AVL mapping at a later date.

5. High security. All over the air data is encoded and encrypted.

6. Control room operator can remotely open radio microphone for activity monitoring.

Notes:

1. At the moment GPS/AVL is only supported in mobiles as we have not yet located a  satisfactory GPS microphone combination for portables.  Motorola Portables do support text messaging and pre-programmed status messages replies.

2. We now have available SmarTrunk, Conventional or LTR versions for the Motorola Commercial and Pro series radios.  We are also shipping Icom SmarTrunk protocol version.
